Cats are often a problem in our lives and I get many, many letters on the subject.  Not always good like poor Doodle the Dandy Dinmont and his ghastly cat Gremlin.

But I am glad to say that not all cat/dog households are like this.  I was born into a 3 cat household and they always looked after me and Ollie the Burmese is my best friend.

So it was heart warming to receive a letter from Chiffon the Chihuahua recently telling me that she was raised by a cat when she lost her mum and she can’t imagine life without cats.  And that’s just the way it should be.
