MAY 2016 – UK
Q. What is the sentence in the UK for taping a dog’s muzzle and keeping him on a balcony?
A. Banned from owning animals for five years
Justice?! It is a complete travesty and it is atrocities like this that really gets my goat. Martin Boyle, aged 32 – should never be allowed near another animal again!
Boyle was caught on CCTV neglecting his bull terrier Morley who he kept on a balcony with his muzzle strapped
The awful thing is, Martin Boyle is not the only one carrying out this type of barbaric cruelty.
June 2015 – USA
Caitlyn – her muzzle was taped for days damaging her tongue
North Charleston police arrested 41-year-old William Leonard Dodson on a felony charge of animal torture. His bail was set at $50,000.
April 2016 – Canada
Finally, justice was done for an 8-year-old Patterdale known as Justice.
Michael Earl Hill was given $60 by a family to take Justice to a shelter as their new-born daughter was allergic to him. Instead Hill decided to strap Justice’s muzzle, neck and paws then dump him in a field to die. Fortunately he found by a guy out for a walk with his two dogs.
Justice … when he was found
Hill was sentenced for two years in a federal penitentiary and banned from living with animals for 25 years. That is more like it! The UK should seriously look at Justice’s case because this is the type of sentencing that we should be dishing out over here not mamby pambying around with a flimsy 5 year ban from owning animals.
Something is going wrong with our planet and when something goes wrong with our planet it affects us all. Humans can do something about it.
We animals put our trust in YOU.
Polar bears are starving because of global warming
Orang-utans are made homeless because people have chopped down their forest homes
And then their is poaching …
We are all meant to share this planet and we all need to do our bit to look after it.

In the wake of our earlier post about Brady the puppy being shot 18 times with a BB gun in the USA and, closer to home, a woman in Suffolk has been chaged with causing unnecessary suffering to more than 30 horses and 20 dogs in her care.
The lady in Suffolk has been ordered to pay £2,500 and banned from keeping horses and dogs for six years. What do you think? Is this sufficient punishment for someone who kept horses in sheds, living knee-deep in muck and negleting to feed them? They also had overgrown feet, dental problems, worm burndens and eye infections. The dogs were kpet in small cages without fresh water or food. This woman should never be allowed to keep animals again.
If you think that someone is neglecting or being cruel to an animal, contact the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), or the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) if you’re in Scotland.

I do despair sometimes. Two teenagers have been accused of shooting an 8-week-old puppy 18 times with a BB gun, leaving him with horrific injuries. Wonder how they would like to be shot 18 times with a BB gun?
Fortunately, baby Brody here is receiving specialised TLC @ The Ebenezer Animal Hospital and I hope the perpetrators of this horrific cruelty – De’Monte Ty’Juan Douglas, 17 and his 14-year-old side kick get their just desserts.
The best news! We have just heard that Brody will make a full recovery and now has a loving home.
Lots of love for a speedy recovery Brody. Cassie
